Types Of Juicers
You can actually get 3 different types of electric juicers; centrifugal, masticating & triturating.
Centrifugal juicers - these use separate blades and a sieve to separate the juice from the pulp. Centrifugal cannot juice wheatgrass though, the other 2 below can though.
Masticating - these ones chew the fruit to a pulp and then squeeze out the juice at the end.
Triturating - these have twin gears which first will crush the fruit and then press it. Triturating are normally the most expensive, but they do provide the best yield of lovely juices!
Ultimately they all do the same job, so you could argue they are much of a muchness.
